ok i sold my sub., #1 C.A.B 12" anyone heard it? #2 whats xmax? #3 500rms push it?

Ahhh. Some reason his first original post doesn't have a sig but his other post have a sig. but that 1600.1 autotek maybe get u 300watts. U should get the sundown LCS woofer for the power u have.
I thought you were smoking something about his sig not being there. Turns out some of his posts have it and others don't. That's really weird.

Looks like it's in his sig.
Because like this time I clicked don't include sig but I guess I have to do it ever time I reply idk.. I promise u the autotek has 500rms I had crossfire vr 602 at 1/2 power for years same sub same box and it had like 715 rms 4ohms (tested when made) I ran 1/2 that and autotek is quite a bit stronger at 2 ohms it just gets **** hot after 20mins of playing bass cd's..

Wth. Op has that autotek with a 25a fuse? Might as well buy a kicker comp
it has 2 25 amp fuses., I know some places list it as 1 25a look at pics., I promise u it would blow a comp to shreds (had cheap sub on it few days it was about to come out of box over excurting to hell) my amp is basicly same as 1 of the MA versions rated at 500rms and the 2100 is same as ma rated at 750rms., I got the black black version just because the suggested retail price is like $50 higher on these for some reason but gotta it cheap as hell... u guys gonna talk me into getting ppi 650 or something and it won't be any stronger then I'm out $ and have 2 amps.. however if yall know of 6-800 rms amp $120 or less let me know I looked at Rockville idk..kinda what I'm saying though maybe I should just get pioneer (its a nice sub just mainstream brand) or ab xs and get a nicer 6-700rms amp cheap and maybe even a box..

You cant really buy based on xmax when you only have enough power to get 3-6 mm xmax on any sub lmaoo. Buy based on efficiency and what kind of box it needs and how it will fit your vehicle. Buying 3 inch coil is utterly useless since you dont have power. Xmax is ueless, you dont have power..... you only factor those if you plan on really pushing the living hell out of them. Only relevant spec is sensitivity in your case.
maybe right on 3' vc but my hp only had like 84db and mms 226 these other subs are lower or about the same some have higher db and hp was pretty loud (for me) if going bt db rating I'd get pioneer champ 96db came in #1 in top ten subs list (SD e came in 10th cause it's inefficient) also pineer fits my box perfectly cause that's what I got it for years ago.. thinking about AB xs specs very close to orion but can't find box size, other lower ends ab subs list larger box than mine..

Why did you sell the Orion? I don't think you'll notice much of a difference in changing subs without upgrading you amp.
I just want something different hp was very old and like I've said I used to change subs 5 times a yr for free when I work at stereo shop, sometimes I'd trade $600 box for $200 box just to see what it sound like and they'd sell my other subs so I was stuck with subs a while but they sounded fine.. also like I said I could get a sub pretty cheap $100 or less and new box if I need to or better amp maybe for what I got from old stuff.. I regret selling crossfire amp cause I coulda got d2 sub 720rms or so to it clean too but had to sell amp to sell 1st sub had to sell 2nd sub to sell the big dual box to go with them and box hardly cost me anything and was pretty nice (but I wont gonna use it., guy has them sitting on back seat 3.6cf ported box 720 or so rms in extra cab truck., pounds..

You have made a crap ton of threads without much progress. If you want to try cheaper products that's fine. The pioneer may do well for you, but you're going to have a hard time getting someone from this forum to fully endorse the choices you keep gravitating towards....even if you make another 20 threads....With your budget and installation constraints it's going to be difficult for us to really help you get out ahead

Buy the pioneer and be done with it. There are worse choices.

If you still really want to micro analyze the specs of a sub you need to figure out what you really need to look at.... ie xmax will not matter as much for a ported box unless youre playing under tuning. Sensitivity is also hit or miss because once you throw a sub in a box in a vehicle the final sensitivity will change.

If you looking for a small ported box you will need to lean towards finding a sub with higher BL/Low Qts. Since you're limited on power you should really aim at a very solid 2" coil or ideally a 2.5" coil since it sounds like you may end up abusing the driver some.

My final 2 cents: a sundown E series would be a solid choice. Sundown makes really solid products, and that's why they are suggested so easily. If the budget can't fit it, buy the pioneer bump it for a bit and see how it goes. It may do what you need it to do.

yeah pioneer probably get great for me, I guess sundown actually be close to hp I just had so should be good, I was looking at other amps ppi 650 is only 1 look right., I wish peeps recomended ppi ice 2600 but seem not to like it.. don't know y peeps o down on all mainstream stuff that pioneer is nice.. i'll look at sundown again
