Displacement. But there is linear and non linear. There's more to it. Also xmax is the basket limit. It does not mean it will do it.

The cab is the SAME sub as the sundown version. It is by far the best sub of the ones you mentioned and it isnt close

well i like the sub thats for sure u think my amp will power it ok at least? i cant do crazy strong amp., if i like whatever sub i get i could get another box but hate to go much over $250 on whole thing that way i made $ getting new stuff (got $350 for subs,amp and dual box spend $80 on new amp).. so u guys hate skar but do u actually not like the subs?, can't believe with the rave reviews no one is standing up for soundqubed.. (crap can't figure out how to change my sig)

Any amp can power any sub. If you could get 6-800w youd be fine on a 2.5" coil.

The current model skar subs have nothing innovative or noteworthy about them, and build quality is spotty at best.

The SQs sound like ****. In a previous thread you mentioned wanting something that sounded good and provide low end; sq is not the driver for that

OK so don't wait for SQ d4 to come in and no skar (u have the sq right?).. so AB xfl heard lots of good stuff about them on here but think my box maybe too small idk and they more $ than cab., CAB IS 3" coil even i forgot that (remember it's the cheap one)

yes i would be pushing to look at the xfl but i can't go no more $ than that and see if i got a $149 or less sub i could afford a new box if don't work well or maybe ppi 650 instead of my amp., honetly if i get the pioneer $70 everyone has raved about (i know not here) but i've had very good luck with them 3 sets and i've always sold them without really losing any $ they sound so good for the $) and a twisted sound 600.1 or something along those lines so which is more important just the sub or amp/box? hell i could get pioneer + ppi 650 and a new box for $240 i bet that'd sound pretty good.. if the pioneer idea don't get me killed how about this box i'm sure someone will yell about it but it does look good and at least it don't have 4" wide 13"h x 4" deep slot port like some have so tuned 5 hz from right maybe https://jet.com/product/detail/bffa52216378478a85b3215df2233984?jcmp=pla:ggl:a_nj_dur_gen_vehicles_parts_a2_b2:vehicle_parts_accessories_motor_vehicle_parts_motor_vehicle_interior_fittings_a2_other:naLA_627454470_31308595522_pla-156920476860:na:na:na:2&code=PLA15

The v3 is within tenths on a termlab as the SA line. I also trust Jacob to r&d stuff, which none of these other budget companies do. Skar, sq etc is all off the shelf chinese subs

You cant really buy based on xmax when you only have enough power to get 3-6 mm xmax on any sub lmaoo. Buy based on efficiency and what kind of box it needs and how it will fit your vehicle. Buying 3 inch coil is utterly useless since you dont have power. Xmax is ueless, you dont have power..... you only factor those if you plan on really pushing the living hell out of them. Only relevant spec is sensitivity in your case.

So what amp does the OP even have or does he have $350 for sub amp box? What in the hell is going on in this thread
