What is this top 10 list you keep talking about? It sounds like a crap list if the Sundown E and pioneer is on it...Don't get me wrong the Sundown E is a solid budget driver, but it shouldn't be in the top 10 much less the pioneer. There's no telling where you would be metering, but it would be really surprising to me if you were even in the high 130's even with your bass boost maxed out (not a good idea to do btw). no it's like 300 reviews between a few sites.. yeah I know some of them are 1st time sub owners but many said they had much more expensive subs before.. I'm just saying I don't like kicker I had comps 20 yr ago they were ok and I got tired of them cause the were everywhere and I hated the square sub idea from the start but i know they loud.. i wish someone would put 6 of these on a wall just to test it i think u would be shocked at the #'s it put up especially if the next highest db system cost like $3k more for more expensive subs and bigger amps for like 2 db more.. u mean that same subs i had back then would meter louder today? all i have is horrible horrible db app on phone it's like 60 db off more or less idk it measured friends boss sub in old box with my amp at 68.5, orion same box and amp at 81 i can see how much if any diff i get on pioneer to know if it's louder or just deeper..

No, if you did a 136 on an AC, that is like 130 by todays methods.

And that list is full on retarded. They have shallow mounts on there, an underhung sub as not sounding the best, and the E which is honestly the best sub on that list as the worst. Zero credibility

Not a chance of 145 on 2 of those. I might be mistaken, but didn't you say you've got a camry, or a trunk car? ZERO chance of doing those numbers with those subs and that power out of a trunk.

My Civic (trunk) currently does 145.0. If you'd like to hear it, message me and I'll be happy to give you a demo.

try going even more or else whenever you actually meter on a termlab and not even hit a 130, dont be crying your eyes out. You come from a different time. Our standards of loudness is waaay higher than you can ever imagine. The termlab will make a grown @ss man cry like a lil sissy. It has done so many times to guys who think they are loud and guess their db scores especially guys like you who are completely out of touch in the bass game.

SENECAS (CIGS).. wow that's good but like u said that was sealed (and again maybe not quite 145 but close I bet) so what would that have been ported?+6db right? probably really 150 which is amazing for 3 12's.. but ported and the pionner is so efficient 500rms is like 700-750 to some subs.. I have no way to test it cause I ain't buying another sub big box amp and paying to test it but I wish someone would just to prove me wrong and I bet u be surprised. I knew I shoulda said 140 but I think it would be higher now maybe I'm just feeling the lower bass and confusing that with spl again I ain't even turned it up yet.. as far as Dixie chicks play it sometime it's a gret sub test, my rear view mirror fell off in wifes lap like 18 yrs ago (or when ever that group started) playing them with 600rms and 3 hifonics 10's sealed.. also I've sat in a sebring with 4 orion hcca 15's at my back with a port like a foot wide (it was big anyway) and 4 hcca amps 152db (so yours was really good!) and in a smaller car with 1 dd 12 hit 145 ported I held the mic

you have no idea what you are talking about and the mic you've used is garbage by today's standard. You will bust your balls and throw all your money away and still not break 140 db on a proper termlab measurement in your trunk low powered setup.

If you arent getting heavy amounts of chest pressure and lung compression along with ears getting ra*ped and visions blurring and all mirrors useless along with windshield flex, good chance you arent even hitting 140db yet.

OK they covered meters have changed.. still pretty impressed with sub this cheap in box ya'll hate with small port area (18" total) may want better box for it someday as he said., if I had table saw and clamps I'd make one myself but as long as airspace and tune is right prefab ain't bad $65

mine is only prefab I've seen that was almost right on tuning..

This is the setup I was running but in a trunk. Same subs, exact same box. 143.8 on a Crescendo 2k, 145.4 on a dd m3.. both amps at 0.5
