OK...The Dude who I was taking my car to in order to get my system installed said that it'd be easier for him if I bought a distribution block, because I was running two amplifiers. He Said he would run my 0/1 AWG Amp kit back to my trunk and use a distribution block then run 4 AWG through to my Amp for my door speakers and my Amp for my subs. I told him I wanted to run 4 AWG to my door speaker amp anyways so that was fine, but what the hell would be the point of running my 0/1 guage amp kit ALL the way back to the trunk...just to connect 4 guage to my Powerbass XA3000D? Does this make sense? Why would he even consider putting a weak link....it would probably be about 2 feet...and then he would switch back to my 0/1 Guage ground for the Powerbass....but I haven't seen any distribution blocks with 0/1 guage inputs and 0-4 guage outputs. I would like to run my 0/1 guage all the way through to my Powerbass with no interruptions with the 4 guage while still using the 4 gauge for my other amplifier....how do I acheive this?

I run 1 run of 0/1 to my amp and 1 run of 4 ga to my componet amp. This becomes more difficult if you run two sub amps. I not too too sure on where I am going to wire the 4 ga but I have an idea

So I might tell the guy then to screw what is easier for him...this is how I need it done...lol...because I refuse to run a 2 foot piece of 4 guage to my Powerbass...I won't do it lol....it's retarded...

What if he ran the 1/0 to the distribution block and then used a 1/0 to 4 gauge terminal adapter on the 1/0 wire to fit in one of the 4 gauge outs? Would there be a noticeable loss?

In any case, Stinger has a 1/0 3-way distribution T-block.

This place in Carsonville named Jones Audio Shop...dude does all the local systems...he's been there for 31 years so I'd imagine he does decent work...it's there or Car Tunes...down on 13 and gratiot in Roseville

i been to cartunes once. they seemed kinda expensive to me.

How much voltage do you think you are going to lose from 1-2 feet of 4 guage wire. I think it would be fine, unless you just really want the look of a big *** wire going to your amp.

i believe his amp has 1/0 gauge inputs, and there was a test done by team pwnage who did various electrical upgrades and there was a difference when wiring direct to the amp vs. smaller wire and a distro. i'll have to search for the thread
