Ocatve setting?

it's kind of a personal preference thing -- for a sub amp I'd probably just set it at 24 and call it good. 24 is just a steeper cutoff than 12. What it means is -- let's say you set your low pass (hi cut) at about 80hz. One octave above 80 hz is 160hz. With a 24db/oct crossover the amp's output will be 24 db less, with 12 db/oct it would be 12 db less.
