noob sub question

I am upgrading the factory system in my car and I am not sure what to do for the sub. I am not looking to win any contests, just decent bass. I want to use my old amp. It's a RF Punch 200.2 that I bought back in 95. Clearly it doesn't have near the power that today's amps have (it's amazing to me how far amps have come, this one cost me 600 bucks and was the best my local store carried back then, now it's crap). I will need to bridge the channels to get any power at all, so the question is: What is the best sub (10 or 12) out there that will be content with about 220 rms? Thanks.

that amp will do 400 watts into one channel (bridged) at 4 ohms //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

yes but back in the day they were severely underrated for competitions I believe. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Im havin a brain fart for low power subs right now.

I always heard that, but didn't know if there were any truth behind it.

Also, I have been out of this realm for quite sometime. When searching online, I found DVC speakers. It appears that such a speaker would allow me to, in essence, double the output of my amp (b/c of the ability to run at 2 ohms). I am guessing I should probably be looking for this type of speaker.

Thanks.
