noob ?, sub fades in & out sometimes

just finished my first install. everything new. notice every once in a while the subs would fade out then come back. hasn't done it but maybe a few times. the system consist of powerbass products, 2 m-10d, ASA 800.2 (sub amp), ASA 300.2, (component amp), s-6c component speakers, and a pioneer head unit. subs are wired 2ohm per channel. i ran a dual amp install kit with 0ga, spilt 4ga to amps. now the sub amp is the only one fading. could it be a bad signal from the head unit or maybe a lack of power to the amp?

i actually had a pioneer cd player that would play quieter(windows up) and get louder when there was more road noise,wind.it was a defeatable feature
