No factory sub

Generally off the rear speaker wires. That way, you can use the fader as a pseudo "sub volume control" (at the loss of rear fill if you "turn the sub down" by fading toward the front).

So I can tap into a full signal? It don't have to be a signal from a sub?
The LOC turns the high-level signal into a line-level, and the sub amp should have a crossover to filter out the high frequencies. A good starting point for the crossover will be 80Hz, Set the amp gain at 50%, and then increase or decrease so it complements the rest of the speakers. Keep the bass control flat on your head unit, or maybe even down a notch, to limit the bass going to your mains.

Awesome advice thank you.
