Bingo

Those rule.

That one seems a bit upscale from the one my school wood shop used.

good quality work... building effeciency comes with time... when i make a box for someone else i normally have about 2 hours in it and lowes does all the cuts
With all due respect, taking less time usually is not the best way to do it. NOw if you are so good that you can cut everything and glue, screw and sand in two hours without mistakes, then far more power to ya. However, trying to get the enclosure done in a short time usually leads to mistakes and carelss measuring errors. I personally have taken an hour alone in measuring for the speakers and subwoofer in my HT project. Just gives you that sense of certainty. I've never seen yo stuff b4, you got any pics? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

2 hrs is really fast. My first box outta ply wood took about 2 hrs to build but I had my uncle helping me with it all and I put a 1 inch sliver in my finger when sealing the box....

Unless your the guy from Unique with all the materials, tools in the world. 2 hrs is going to be hard to meet...

Excellent looking box, qudos...

hey guys i said 2 ported boxes (uncarpeted) in 2 hours.not just one:D .

i agree with the statement that faster is not the best way.and accuracy is the key.my first few box's that i did took a few hours as i was learning how to do things right.but if you keep trying you learn how to speed of the build process while still being accurate.

and most ppl do not have access to the tools i have the saw i posted above plus a 8 foot slideing bed table saw,bar clamps, air staplers rouders etc.

take your time do it right and the end result will be very rewarding

thx for all the compliments. I am really proud of this box even though it took days. I don't have all the pro tools as hofulstrof does, so maybe that's why. This box here is my fourth project and i think it came out great. also the compliments were great motivation...

well, my GF wants it carpeted but i've never done a carpet job before, so I am not too confident in carpeting. Also, since i think it looks pretty nice w/o the carpet, why mess it up w/ an ugly carpet job. I actually dig the bare wood look.....sexy

i to like to look of a uncarpeted box.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/woot.gif.aaa6090e619a97b6090d16dd863c5a69.gif
hell yeah. carpet = prefab look.

I would only carpet my box if I had a false wall...
