first let me apologize for you having to continue to put up with my barrage of newbie questions, but please bear with me, i will get it eventually.
so on one hand i have people here telling me not to mix subs of any kind, period. and on the other hand i have someone who has a system with two 10" kicker's and two 12" jl's, all on one amp, and his shit pounds. so what's up? what's the reason why i shouldn't mix subs? if you're not supposed to mix subs, why does his sound good? can you mix enclosures, like having two 12's in a sealed box and three 12's in a ported box, if they were on separate amps? does running your mixed subs at different frequencies alleviate the problem?
