Hi all,

I'm going to buy a double din head unit (probably Pioneer P4300DVD) and need to know what else I need to buy so the installer can install it. My car is a 2009 Kia Sedona LX. It has a double din space.

What do I need to buy besides the stereo? I have to use BB as I have heard that the independent shops charge way too much for a simple head unit installation. Is this normally the case?

Is there a website I can buy any extra cables I need from?

from what i understand, you pay for the HU from BB and they'll install it for ya but they charge you for the dash kit, harness, etc.

if you aren't afraid to install it yourself you can save a lot of money by purchasing one from sonic electronix. all the stuff to mount it and install it is included free.

Agree with above. Check out a few Kia forums and you'll probably find some very detailed info on how to do the install, it's really not that difficult and is a great learning experience.
