Newbie port question

Ok i'm a little confused. My box will be 24Hx24Dx37W. The port is going to be along the bottom of the box 5"Hx30"W i want it to be tuned to 33hz. Carstereo.com tells me if it's a "square port" my length needs to be 27.09" but if i check yes where it says "Is this a slot port?" my length changes to 12.09" which is a BIG difference from 27". how many 6" aero's would i need to be around 150 sq. in.

do that math each 6" aero is 28.26 of area

with aeros you can get away with half of the area it would need if u were doing slot port

12-16inches per cube for porting with aeros you can get away with half that so 6-8inches per cube

wat size subs and how many, and wat size box

you could get away with 3, might be best to go four, not 100% sure maybe someone else will give their input

To get 150 sq inches of port area you'll need (5-6) 6" aero's...5 will be a bit under 150 sq inches...6 will be a bit over. 150(desired port area) /28.2735 (area of each 6" port)=5.305 (ports you'll need)...

If you're going with (5) 6" aero's you'll need to make each port 30.6" long to be at 33Hz tuning

And if you're going with (6) 6" aero's you'll need to make each port 37.59" to be at 33Hz tuning

i recall aero's only require half of the port area of slot porting am i wrong
