Newbie help

Well im new here and would like some advice. Ive done lots of searching but i cant find what i need. I am ordering an Avalanche 15 and it will be going into a maximum of 3.5 cu.ft sealed box. I need to know how much watts this will be able to take and what amp should i get for it. This will be in my Mazda Millenia its got a 110 amp alterantor but i dont want to draw a crap load of power. My budget is $250 for the amp. any and all suggestions are needed.

your not going to get a lot of amp for $250 save your money & get something that you will be happy with.

how much watts can i put to the avalanche in a sealed box? Im not looking for overkill just want it to move u know. i also need to get an amp for my spekaer as well so i dont want to draw to many amps. I was looking at the Soundstream van gogh series amps do you guys think that the VGA800.2 will power the Avalanche enough?

i am going to run an avalanche 15 in a 2.5-3.0 sealed box also. i had that same amp picked out too!!! i think i have decided to go with the profile ap2000... 960 watts rms @4 ohm. either amp will work well imo. the zeb has the profile ap2000 for $229 shipped.

I was thinking EDesigns Nine.1 would be good to power the Avalanche. I feel a bit of comfort with that 3 year warranty. Do you think i should run the sub at 4 or 1 ohm with that amp? I was also looking at their components sets anyone know anything about those?

run it at 1 ohm with that amp with the gains down

im not too sure about components, sorry.

and isnt the ED nine.1 a lot more than 250?

yeah, the nine.1 is rated at 1200 watts 1 ohm, its $350 and backordered right now.

ED sometimes puts bstock 9.1s on icixchange for less than the $350. And theres at least one for sale on icix, in the classifieds
