Possible battey upgrade

SHould be able to bring it in for around $900 once you add RCA cables, power and ground distro blocks, etc. You may want to buy a new Headunit as well. You can build the box yourself as ling as you have basic tools (circular or jig saw, drill, etc.). Just pick up a sheet of MDF from Home Depot for around $35.

Well, I just want some good sound quality and abss I dont need it that loud... I just want some decently loud shit. I dont really know what all stuff I need? Can I just get subs or do I need an amp also like I dont know fill me in? Im probably going to get a new cd player also.. You can drop the upgraded front stage, but I don't recommend it. That is a pretty **** good price for a full system. You'll be hard pressed to find better for less money.

Well, Im going to get a new cd player... probably a Boss Audio BV7960T, it has a 3.5 in tv in the dash and has dvd player and everything.. Im probably going to put a 7.3 in tv in the back too.. Im not sure though. So I am hard pressed for money, What all do I really HAVE to have for some decent bass, I dont listen to things that loud I just want to enjoy some rap with some bass..

First off NO BOSS AUDIO CRAP. Their stuff is poorly built and will **** ***. Get a decent little pioneer unit. You don't need a TV, especially if you are on a budget.

Go with the same fronts amp and wiring. Should shave a bit more than $200 off the total, more than enough to get a decent CD player. Look on eBay, in the classifieds here, etc.

Definetely spend your money on the sound.

The wow factor of having tv's in your car I think is way overrated (and in comparison lame) to an amazing sound system

If your on a tight budget, leave out the extras like that and get a decent pioneer unit like said ^

I started out small w/ a 300w amp pushing 2 kicker 12'' comps. It was nice, and I spent way too much on it (audio shops kilt me) but have since learned how to piece it together w/o dying out on cash. I've spent over 1200 just now putting together my two 15's.

Just remember if you do like your audio, you might want to invest in the amp.

Its probably the most deciding factor of future upgrades, and what u can get now.

but for a small set up to just pumpin out the door, look for at least 500watts.

For subwoofers you will want a monoblock amplifier, none of the amps that have like 600.4 on them.

If u want something like that, depending on trunk size, you might want to start out w/ more known brands, til u learn some more about coil configs and all that.

Space is important, subs w/o the proper enclosure wont sound right.

if u think you might ever upgrade, just think it, get 0 guage wire right off the bat. Ebay got good deals on it, or ppl on here.

Read around, its ur best bet.

yo...

aight if you want to spend $600 on a nice system... heres what you should get:

First I would go with either CDT comps cl-61a(100$) woofersetc.com, or Crystal sscs6's(about 160$). google it or get in classifieds

The CDTs are well worth 100 and sound amazing for the price especially when amped. The crystals have been compared to higher end speakers and supposivly sound great. They are my next set and my cdts are going in the rear.

for your speaker amp, try getting an amp that does around 150x2 or so. I have a kicker 650.4 that I got for 175 shipped that does 120x4 at 4 ohms, you dont need that kind of power but it was only 175 so....yeah get a kicker 350.4 or somethin for like 110-130 I remember buying one off a guy on thsi forum for like 115, great deal.

as for the sub and sub amp...ask around I dont feel like typin anymore sorry dude.. good luck

ok i feel like typin its the next day and hands are free so... it all depends on what kind of setup your going to want. if you want loud, SPL than get an amp like the hifonics 1606d, or something along the lines. You can get one for about $200 used, maybe 230 barely used, and somewhere around 250 new. give or take a few bucks they do less power than said but not by much. im getting at least 1400 real watts out of it and it claims 1600, i might be even getting 1500-1600 who knows. there are profile amps and just use the search function to search budget amps. along with that amp you can get an alpine type r pretty cheap, or you can go a step higher and get the L7, 12 inch or 15 depending on how loud you want it.

if you want quality you can go with the Diamond audio D6...maybebout $150 on ebay and a NICE box and thats good... again im tired of typing
