actually l7s are decent subwoofers, their only turnoff is the price... I had one it was my very first sub and I loved it for what it was

yep, my single L7 12 on a JL 500/1 (got it all used for 250) was out right surprising for what it was.

And that's the thing..it's not that they're 'bad' subs, it's just that, well, the price tag doesn't exactly suit their performance. Not to say that they don't perform well, just not $400 well.

..i would not hesitate to buy either of these items, if they can be demo'ed before purchase....killer deals. Personally I like to use C/L, I do not like to tell ppl to use it, but u should know what resources are available to you....I NEVER use e-bay, just because the two amps i did buy on there did not work.....Check around and see what's available in your area. I have driven a couple hundred miles just to save a few hundred bucks.
