there you go, less than $100 shipped. you can't really beat that.
but if you wanted to go with one 15, i'd save up an buy either an l5 or an l7, an l5 will take about the same power as a comp VR, but maybe get a tad louder. and boxes are easy to build
the one thing i'd recomend is get a good head unit, i made the mistake of buying the shitty 100 dollar sony from best buy, it may seem good then, but you'll pay later,im paying as we speak
. stick with the brands that are well known. Alpine, Pioneer, and Eclipse are brands i'd recomend, they all have good units in the 200-250 dollar range, depending on what your needs are. i'd stay away from sony and dual like companies.
to replace stock speaker's i'd say some coaxials, or 3 ways that way you dont have to worry about mounting tweeters, and doing all that now, you can worry about that later when you get more into it. you can power them with a good 4 channel amp, i'd say replace the front ones first, since those are the ones you primarily hear, worry about the back later.
A 4 ga wiring kit from walmart will save you lots of money, the 4 g wiring kits from bestbuy are like 150 dollars, that's insane, wire is wire.
don't waste your money on a Capacitor, flashy lights and promises to "keep headlights from dimming" are tottal crap. they're actually more of a strain on your electrical system. i'd recomend the "big 3" which you can find many many threads about in the electrical help part of the forum
if you have any more questions, search the forum, or ask a question. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif good luck!
