I ended up getting a Kinetik hc800 for the trunk battery. And I ordered a 4 gauge wiring kit from knukonceptz. Also got 0 Gauge to do the big 3 which I have been putting off forever. I will get pics up when I start putting it all in next week.

Why the 4 gauge?

Little wierd thing. With the trunk open just to check the subs movement real quick. Almost no sound was coming out. Trunk closed hits hard actually sounds ok. Maybe a phase problem?

pop the trunk and sounds like a tiny baby fart... close the trunk and it slams!

Why the 4 gauge?

Honestly my car is so small that I dont think 2 gauge was needed. and honestly it would be very hard to run the wire through my car with how much thicker it is.

i think you should be running at least 2 gauge to the 1500D. i think it accepts 0 gauge right?

Nice stuff! I run 0ga to my dist. block then 4ga from the block to the 2 main amps...and I dont draw even 100amps.. so I'd def look into some beefier cables for that 1500d.

Its better to have overkill than under whats recommended, a car is nothing like a nice quiet home, it can be punishing on equipment..do it right the first time.

I would aslo beef up the wiring for that amp, but that is just me.

Very nice ill be running 2 saz-1500ds on 2 hd3c 10's when I get my 3500d motors sold. Streetbeat 1 here i come

I ran it with 4 gauge with the gains low and never had a problem. Still saw 14.3 volts on it @ full blast.

I ordered them they will be here wednesday but wont be installed till saturday but ill let you know. when I get them

4 gauge will be run the maybe 10 feet it is between my front battery and the kinetik in my trunk. 0 gaugue being used for big three. I dont really see this wire being to small. I have under 2000wrms total i think 0 gauge through the whole car would be a pain and a bit of overkill

Just a random reply i ran 2 runs of 1/0 gauge wire to my trunk battery for my 2500.1 and my voltage went way up.
