Helping a friend.

My friend that has a 01 Audi A4 has his rear midbass woofers blown in his car. He would like to go with an aftermarket replacement.

He told me they are 6.5 inch and are an 8 ohm load. I am fine giving advice for people that want complete aftermarket stuff, but finding an extremely low power/high efficient 8 ohm 6.5 midbass may be hard to find.

Are there any recommendations that stick out in anybody's mind? I'm assuming they play more than just midbass frequencies aka the OEM crossover in the external amp sends subwoofer-esq frequencies as the 6.5 speakers in the A4 are considered "subs" in regards to their manual, lol.

So, in general, I'm trying to help him find an 8 ohm 6.5 OEM replacement than can play the low stuff.

Thanks.

ive seen audioban 6.5 midbass drivers before.... dunno if they still make em??

ive got one orion xtr 6.5'' sub.. in a ported box on my work bench up at my work.. it's pretty sweet little thing.. giveing it 200w rms and it beats!!
