new sysem build nedd amp help......

wasup forum Current setup: i have a 04 monte ss. currently i have a 4 gauge amp kit 2 12inch kicker l5s and a old model jbl 1200 watt monoblock or 1 channel amp with the stock radio hooked up and a 2 channel converter. i dont know what are the ohms the subs are cuz i bought them from sum car audio pawn shop. and i cant check them out cuz i am currently overseas and i wont b home till march but i want everything installed them. i have stock door speakers, 6x9s, batt, and alternator.

New project: i am goin to buy a head unit, new interior speakers, alternator and battery. but i am keepin my current subs becuz they hit good now and i really like them. but i want a new amp but dont know what amp i should get. i was told to get the hifonics brutus 2010d or sumthin like that. i know that it is a class d monoblock amp. but i dont know bout this am stuff. i know that i want to get a amp that will push my subs to their potential power without blowing them up. im also goin to put 0 gauge amp kit and get the big 3 upgrade too. so i really need sum help please and if you have any suggestions fell free to fill me in. i would appreciate the help. thanks

we need the ohms to be able to tell you, not enough info, if the jbl sounds good keep the jbl.there are a lot of better amps then the brutus but we need to know if you have dual 2 or dual 4 ohm subs

the best of the group is the a7hc by far and i have tested all of them before, you wont need to upgrade your electrical as it is so efficient, ran it on stock 119 alt and a audio battery in back and my voltage never dropped below 13.5

for price performance the recoil would be next on my list but you will def need a new alternator etc with this one

i would let you know the ohms but i am in iraq now. i wont b home for another month. do i gotta take the speaker out of the box to see what ohms it is
