I get paid in 2 weeks, and I am placing my order for a new sub the day I get paid.

I can't decide what to get based on what I will continue to use

Vehicle Chrysler 200

Currently: 1 Dad KMH 15" (500 RMS 1000 Watt Max), 1 PPI 1800.1. I was told the box was 2.5 cubes 35 ish Hz.. Give or take a little, no idea. I Bought it from my local dealer, the box and sub.

The box is 31" Long 20" Wide 9" tall. The port is 5" Wide 7.5" Tall, so if someone wants to do the math that I don't know how to do and tell me what the cubes/tuned to then cool. If not, whatever.

I would LIKE to keep the box I have.. just because that saves me work/money, the next box I do i'm having someone design and i'm building, someone who knows what their doing.

Based on my box.. I have looked around, now tell me.. Which sub would best fit my CURRENT box and amp?

American Bass XFL1544

Sundown SA-15

SQ HDS3

I was looking pretty hard at the SQ, but maybe one of the others would work best? Or maybe a brand I didn't list that would sound good. Dc maybe?

My goal is to keep the original box and amp. I love rap, lows, but I also love a lot of rock.. I pretty much listen to whatever. My DAD sounds very crisp and clean.. On rock I want a little more, that can be adjusted. But I just feel like for the money I spent, and every other factor I really want more deep bass

Next - I would love to have 2 15" in my trunk.. Honestly I don't know if thats possible.. The max I could do a box in my trunk is 37 Wide 30 Deep 15 Tall.. Is it possible to stuff 2 15's back there? If so which brands would be best for that small of space? Again I'd love to keep my PPI 1800. But it I understand it isn't a crazy ****** amp and probably can't handle 2 decent 15's

Other information that you may need..

Big 3 is in the mail, will be installed asap

Stock batt under hood, that will be done soon after I get a new sub. I realize if I can run 2, it'll need to be done first (That's also why i'd like to keep a little trunk room for another battery)

Thanks guys

None of those subs will work that well in your box. You'll need a bigger box maybe a dc id and a more sq based sub. Since most if them work better in smaller enclosures Is budget an issue ?

So with that being said, 2 15's is definitely out, correct?

Budget wise on a sub im looking from anywhere from 150-250 preferably.. Maybe 300 at Max, probably none over since now It's looking like a box build as well.. I'll be building the box myself probably.. But I'll find someone on the forums to design me a box cut sheet

That's the only way that box will work. If you built a larger box for your 15 I think you would be happy.
I mean it could. It's 4 ohm wired down to 2. Though it's only rated at 500 RMS.. Probably what 650 ish pushing it? I don't know. I bought it from my local shop. They custom build the box for like $250 or some ****, the sub was $200.. Wayy to much but I had no way to build my own box at the time.. I could build a little bigger box, but I feel like I could get double the power and a better sub for $200.. Rather than what I ended up with.

Is also build a bigger box. Try your sub now in it. Then see if you want a better sub You might be surprised
Could do.. sheet of MDF is $35.. That's about all I need, not going to worry about making it look pretty right now..

Problem is.. There isn't much info on these subs what so ever.. No idea what it should be built too.. Size, tuned, anything.. And I'm not sure who i should go to for a cutsheet

Try 3.5^3 at 32 hertz should be great for almost any 15" sub on the market
Sub is going to have to fire upward.. So the port is facing my trunk door right now, seems to sound the best a couple inches away rather than forward towards the cab

My FiQ12 would sound killer in your box its perfect specs for it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
