New Sub Selection Help - SSA, Sundown, etc...

Hum, I was interested in the IDMAX before but I dont think I can swing 2.0 cu ft for the ported. How would it do sealed? The boston spg555 is interesting and I will need to read up on this. Would the radiator be cut out and mounted on the other side of the box from the sub?
correct

spg-tr http://www.bostonacoustics.com/DocumentMaster/US/SPGTRman.pdf

goes on the backside and you tune the box with weights either at 30, 35, or 45

IDMAX likes sealed but the spg-555 in the small box with the radiator would be the loudest setup out of everything mentioned with the smallest box

Loud is good but I still want to keep good SQ. Have you heard the Boston? I am wondering about sound quality of an oval woofer like the square solo barics. I was told round gives the truest sound?? I am coming from a JL W6 which price aside is a good speaker. I want something comprable sound wise and a bit louder. Still does not have to be a budget speaker although it always nice to save and get a good deal, lol.

At this point im really liking SSA GCON 12", IDMAX 12", DAYTON HO 12"

I own 2 ba spg-555 and the bostons will sound the best out of all the subs listed, they are built for sound quality first.

dont even put the l7 in the same sentence as the spg please not again

I must say that review was pretty impressive and I will be reading more about this sub. He used it in a vented enclosure so maybe it I can find something about seal with the radiator.

OZ looks like it went out of business dont see any out there. I was just looking up Fi Q as well..... Im starting to get overwhelmed and have done nothing at work the past 2 days but look at subs lol
