You should be teaching me if I remember correctly...

Why would that be used as a bucking magnet? That's nothing new..and has been around since the 1910's-1920's when James B. Langsing came up with "JBL" (1918 if I remember correctly)

Teach on sensai.

A bucking magnet is used to control stray flux, so it does not interfere with televisions. That's only a problem if you put this next to a CRT.

My guess, from the boner every one is getting over this, probably considerably different than a bucking magnet, though I'll wait for a full spec sheet before I'm impressed.
