d2 sub reading 8ohm

whats wrong with it.I was playing some music earlier and the amp shut down.I stopped turned it back on and it was fine.Then later driving down the road it did it again.So i decided to check the ohm on the sub and its reading 8ohm and i dont know why

probably because you have a shitty dmm.

test the resistance across the leads of the dmm and poast it up

just touch them together in ohm
