new setup help

hey yall im robbie and new to the forum. looking for some advise. im planning on running american bass 6.5 mid drivers with ab compression tweeters. i also plan on running 1 12 inch xfl and 1 8 inch vfl. my main question is this: how do i separate all the freq ranges? i plan on running the mid drivers and tweeters on an amp. but the combo wont have a crossover and thats the only way iver ever equalized.. help!

You need active capable amps or active capable head unit. Why a 12 and an 8? Are they playing different frequencies also?
