New Set-Up What do you think

looks better, but i'd just get some ring terminals to throw on there. i am not a fan of just shoving the wires under the screw and tightening them down. just my opinion obviously.

wow, looks a lot better already, man. And just let me tell you one thing, kudos for actually listening. Most people that come on here with an install like yours get very offended when we tell them whats wrong and they will sit there and ***** at us until they are blue in the face. You took our (my) advice like a man and fixed the stuff I said was wrong.

That being said, you still should look for some nice heavy duty ring terminals for the terminals on that amp, it would make for a cleaner look, but it's not 100% necessary. And everyone starts somewhere, trust me I can sympathize. I worked at McDonalds from the time I was 14 until my freshman year in college, but I was still kicking some Type R's and a 1200w kicker amp back then, so you can do better, just save up!

It's not the best system ever, but could be far worst. My first system was 2 12" pioneers on a alpine mrv 1507 it loooked like shit! I had wires hanging out everywhere but I mean everyone has to start some where.

most people with fight back because they already know what you going to say. Like I said I got my first system for free so Im not going to complain about it.

I had to stop working on the system tonight cause its about to rain. But I will keep at it. Any ideas on a good box, I prefer sealed box's over ported.

If you want a good box either get a design from someone here and build it yourself or have someone build it for you.

i would probably run that sony amp over the pyle amp. sell the pyle to someone local and recoop some money, that sony im sure is plenty of power for those subs.

hahaha hey don't feel bad about any 1st system you ever have. mine was a pyle ful range box with 2 12's and a 600watt sherwood amp. lmfao. back then,...20yrs ago.. they use to put 2 subs, 2 mids, and 2 horn tweeters all the 1 box.

You need to run bigger power wire...dump the cap and and do the big three......but first thing u need to do is go to 0 gauge wire
You mean for the amp? I'm 100% sure 4ga will be sufficient for that amplifier. Unless of course, he intends to upgrade later on down the road, in which case, 1/0 would be better so don't have to do it again later.

Pick this up:

Car Audio Wire

Along with plenty of this to wire up your subs.

Car Audio Wire

Matching wire will also help it look a lot cleaner. Also ditch the cap if you haven't already.

Personally, you couldn't pay me to run any of that equipment, but we all have to start somewhere I suppose. I don't really see why every noob's excuse on here for why they don't have nice stuff is that they work part-time and make minimum wage; I did, saved up my money and have a really nice set up. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif
