new set up advice

installing in a 2002 Chrysler 300m special

ok heres what I have..i know some wil say get this or that but its what I have

head unit Kenwood KDC-bt848u

5 ch amp..old school Soundstream Tarantula 800/5

also 2 Kenwood for front door speakers

+2 bazooka tubes 8"

now will i need a 2ch amp for the bazookas and let the tarantula power the 4 speakes?

will i need a capacitor or extra battery? amp has built in crossover i believe for low high and mids

will this affect alternator?

those rear speakers are a very poor choice.

You will not need a capacitor as they do not do anything to strenghten your electrical

Yes you need an amp for the 2 - 8" subs

You plan on mounting them in the trunk? How do you plan on getting the bass into the car?

Why do you want to run 4 - horrible shrill 6x9's in your rear deck?

When you go to a concert do you turn away from the stage to listen to the music?

Why do you want more sound behind you rather than in front of you?

thanks crispin..i guess ill just put 2 6x9 and the bazookas in trunk..no room in car for bazooka so only place is trunk,,in front door im puting 6.5's. btw in the trunk im putting against the backseat so that should do it unless you recommend something else?

i thought they were good 6x9 since they are 5 way

and if it helps i dont want o be heard blocks away..i just want something better than factory and still drive comfy

i've done a couple cars like yours in the past .you prolly wont hear the bass from the tubes , if anything take the woofers out of the tubes and build a box for them ,you'll get better output and response from the box,better yet get some 12s or 15s for the trunk and at least 1000 watts rms

What's wrong with your factory headunit?

The setup is cool.

Dont over due the rear deck speakers &put the 8s in whatever they like and you should be good.
