Is it bad to jump a car when you have amps hooked up?

My friends battery recently died in his car and i had to jump it with my car. I have 2 amps hooked up to my battery. I was just curious is that bad to do when you have amps? It didn't do anything but I was just wondering for future reference. Thanks.

Just have your stereo off which I'm sure you do and it shouldnt be pulling hardly any current so no harm.

Done it many of the time. Extra long 1/0 in the back makes for jumper cables lul
