Not sure if anyone has experience purchasing from Cyberpower Inc.? I don't want to build my own from Newegg as I have no experience nor time to mess around with the support if something goes wrong.

Already have 2 good Samsung LCDs so no need for monitors.

www.cyberpowerpc.com

They seem to be pretty competitive pricing compared to Alienware/Dell/Velocity Micro.

Also if I did 1 GTX 280 could save about $50, could also save $290 by downgrading the processor to the i7-920 2.66ghz. Also could get the Kingston 1800mhz hyper X memory for +$30.

Have had my AMD 3800+ / Nvidia 7800 GTX for 3 years + now and need to upgrade. I tend to use a gaming machine as my primary for 3-4 years and then cycle it to my backup/fiancé’s machine so I tend to prefer deep cycle technology (e.g. 2nd tier tech behind the highest price latest & greatest).

Would appreciate your feedback!

I build computers, networking, software, ect. I cant read this thread right now....so, PM with a shortened version and ill help you.

Just buy it from Newegg. If it is priced with Alienware, then it is WAYYYYY overpriced. Who cares if you might get a DOA item? Is it really worth the extra $500 for a PC from there just to assure that you dont get something DOA? Newegg is great about returns/DOA items. Just go with the Egg, jeesh.

EDIT: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16883227118 Theres one already made and equivalent to the one you want.

I am sure it could be even cheaper building it yourself, then you get EXACTLY what you want.

if you were to do as the link suggests, youd be losing a a Graphics card and half the HDD space...i got one of my employees building it to spec. for you, compare prices...but just looking over it, the price seems fair. we shall find out.

I've had good luck with Cyberpower, with a few small exceptions.

I've purchased 3 or 4 PC's from them.

Last time I added it up, I was basically paying them about $125

to assemble the PC, but with about the same components I would

choose at newegg. They do not put the very latest BIOS and drivers

on for you in my experience.

i wouldnt bother with a sound card, id get a mx518 instead of the g9, and a 920 instead of the 940

yeah just get the ibuypower one on newegg, and i love my mx518

actually the cyberpower pc is only $300 more and has 2 vids card and a better proc, that vid card is like $239 and i think the proc is like $270 more than a 920

OMFG. im gonna have to fire my employee...this retard came up with $2660 built to spec on Newegg.....that isnt right I know...that or the company is full of it.
