stupid should hurt.
signed up for a test run of the new monster turbine in-ear drivers. just got them today and they sound great.
i kinda lied on my application, i had a friend fill out the form and put my address. lol. he got a pair too.
these were marketed for the low and high end frequencies, and they do a pretty good job for the price. $149 msrp, one guy said he picked them up already online for $100.
as for the sound. the low end does a very well job at reproducing bass. in songs like "bass i love you" and "bassotronics" (two of my favorite bass songs), it did ok. i was skeptical when i heard the bass on those songs so i played a 50 hertz, 15 second, test tone. and wow, i could feel the bass in my head. some songs it does well with the bass and others it does a phenomenal job at it. the high end, like crash symbols are accurate. just like how i like my HSKs on the little harsh side, and the mids are there.
i dont know much when it comes to midrange, but lows and highs are great. it sounds much better when you have a higher bit rate you can tell a difference between 320 and 160.
and of course noise canceling. they do a pretty good job at it, not completely.
and the design is pretty cool too, a throw to their RCAs.
im not too much of an audiophile, just getting into it. just thought i should post a review
