the DQ was gone after less than a year when it was banned from compsHarrison Labs used to make a 20kW amp called the "Drag Queen" with internal batteries. They have a little bit of info about it on their web site but I don't think they sell it anymore. It used to be advertised on nexxon.com back in the day.
hes checking on it for meany prices on the hertz yet
I belive it was basically a tone generator. Not that db drag isn't just tones anyway. But it was like having a wall socket, not really a stereo.the DQ was gone after less than a year when it was banned from compsthe cost was ungodly high
and for an amp you can only run for 30 seconds before it needs time to cool off obviously comp only
On a single battery for a few seconds - you absolutely need massive electrical upgrades for ANY of these.Almost all the amps listed are designed for street classes... They are meant to put out alot of power with a single battery... Im sure it wont hurt to have a decent electrical system to feed those monsters
Ya thats what I meant ... for a burp only.... For daily I would prob run atleat 8+ batteries and 300amp altOn a single battery for a few seconds - you absolutely need massive electrical upgrades for ANY of these.
Not sure yet. It is doing quite well in prototype though - handling the four 1500s with no issues for burps and for 30 second runs. When are those monster subs of yours coming out??? I need a reason to get rid of my DD's![]()
They have a 4kw amp. 2 per jackhammer I suppose.again... didnt JBL make a monster amp....
also with MTX unleashing the Jackhammer... kinda dumb they didnt make an amp for it to
