I swear I will never understand the math behind box building to be able to do it myself

Box is looking good. Curious as to why port is touching bottom of the box vs centered? In theory that would extend port length some....

I should squeeze that out even if i gota wire to .25 and roll up ...idk the design was done by dcarcustoms on maf

You can see from his max box width if the port rises it will weaken the support around the sub to keep the 8.6 port they lowered it t the floor. Your right though any round type port is supposed to be spaced equally around its dia. to fully function as intended. It will not function as efficiently but I suspect they had to make the best of the design limitations.

Yea had to sacrifice a few inches off center as i didnt want to cut down on port area ..i suspect it to turn out well tho

Well got some good listening in ..no numbers or vids yet sorry..but this box is awesome very flat response from 26-50
