new critical mass sub...

How did I know that question was coming?
Define better.
omg bro tell me you dislike the w7

I hate the thing. Honestly I might give it a half way ok opinion if it wasn't for all the ignorance of the marketing and people that hear it... wow you should throw w7's in there. would be louder

not buying it but the sub kinda has my attention. i'm an id man. they sure are bosting their tails off about this sub. kinda hard to believe that this sub is 97db efficient. it'll take some serious killer reviews to get me to walk away from my idmax's...

Bro efficiency rating means JACK. lit chack. I mean this prob in my opinion the most pointless rating the car audio industry...

It's not 96.7 dB efficient by any accurate measure... that is with 2.83v which is 1-watt at 8 ohms, they spec that at 0.75 ohms! Thats about 10-watts... so the sub is really only ~86-87 dB efficient at 1-watt.

Nor is Xmag....

I wouldn't pay $2000 dollars for this when you can get an LMS-Ultra for less from AudioPulse.
