New computer build, any input?

you should go with a better psu, and hd, I would also personally go with like a GTX 285 or something, and no cd/dvd drive?

I would do a storage drive also so you can save stuff on that to clear up your master hd.

I paid that much two years ago for my computer and got now where near that nice of stuff hahaha.

I cant believe how cheap ram is now.

My two 1 gig sticks were 120 bucks when I got them. Now I can get the same sticks for 19 bucks.

This computer is only going to have a couple games and some editing programs

The pc I'm on now i store everything on like music, movies all of that...

I have a cd drive already, and the 285's have had some framerate problems haven't they?

Bigger hard drive for sure, The gtx 260 sounds like plenty of gpu for you though. Overall seems like a very nice build, Makes me wish I could build another one but I'd never get all the money out of my 9800gtx's in my tri-sli machine. Good luck

You really dont need that much.

I have a 700w thermaltake. I dont see anyone reason to need to more than unless you were going with triple or quad graphics cards or whatever.

Im sure that graphics card will be fine for crysis. An old ati 9800xt could easily max css.

Heck, my 8800gts 640mb can run crysis almost maxed. Two of them in SLI can completely max with a framerate of 30 or more.

Get a Aftermarket cooler, i7s run very hot, if you plan on overclocking at all you need a aftermarket cooler..
