New computer build, any input?

Yes that is fine..About the same stuff I used in my i7 build for some one...If you plan on overclocking that i7 just buy a aftermarket cooler for like 30$...your going to need some artic silver 5 thermal paste...and a molex the antec is really big its hard to get cables around the back
don't use that shitty thermal paste they send you, i have 10 tubes of that shit sitting on my desk...If you plan on running the cpu power cable behind the case you need a extender, the stock cable won't reach behind the case...

heres what im talking about with the wires, i have about 6 custom cut holes in there, this is a old pic my new one is much cleaner

do you plan to use it later or something? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

Can I find those cables on newegg?
Yes, there where 4.99 for me I think..You can run a cable straight up your case but that looks ugly as ****..Plus I have a custom side panel on my antec 1200, so it looks even more shitty, I didn't relize i need the cables untill i bought all my shit.

I use them to upgrade peoples thermal paste and there northbridge/soutbridge, cuz most manufactures can't install thermal paste worth shit.

chase you will ONLY see gains in those seconds on games like UT3 that stream data as you are playing (no load times) but thats NOT why you buy a raptor. You buy a raptor for gains in access and read times (i.e. loading windows, games, apps into memory etc). So it was foolish to buy a raptor expecting any real gains in FPS.

I didn't buy a rap in a increase in fps.....I did not see a big increase in using the rap for my os, so I returned it, and bought some other stuff.

Looks like a tower full of FAIL. All that just to fap to some male erotica huh?

Fair enough then. From the way it was worded it sounds like you were expecting big performance increases. I had a 36gb raptor, sold it on craigslist b/c it wasn't worth much to me. Just gotta make sure people aren't spouting bullshit //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif no offense meant

LOL.....Post your tower please, open your dell and show me your dust bunnys.
Do you follow me around spamming my post??
LOL DEll.....Puh-Lease....... Like I said it is a tower full of FIAL. You got all that unnecessary shit in there. Air cooling on top of liquid. You just read a Maximum PC and started buying up shit. You got fan controllers and LED lights........lol. And also what looks like a fan on the memory as well. You OC'ing your shit that much or do you just like the lights and noise?

LMFAOOOOOO YOUR A JOKE....Liquid cooling needs air to...Lots of low CFM fans>less noses, compared to 1-2 fans at high speeds. this computer is perfectly scilent, only thing you here is the hard drive load when I load a game or something...your dumb man....All of my gear is overclocked to the extreme

This is my RAD,,,I don't even need to run any fans in my case and every thing stays under 50CLoad

Btw im size 11

not sure i would say any pc component is "future proof"

how long was s754 and s939 around, maybe a year? people bought into s939 to be more "future proof" than the older s754. then less than a year later AM2 came out, then AM2+ and now AM3. thats a diferent "socket" every year

cases and power supplies can be used for years with different components, but cpu sockets, ddr specs and video cards change monthly

dont buy something to be "future proof" buy it because you can afford it an you want the biggest pc'enis on the block for a few months

You have your opinion, I have mine. Which one you think I care about? And I have a Nine Hundred that is collecting dust. Did they make the fans less noisy while on high?

Lol all my fans are moving at 20cfm making 18db, smart ***...I can turn them up to 130CFM and they make 48Db, smart ***..this is a car audio thread you should know how much 18 db and 48 db, bring over your TL lets put it inside.

The one question I did have is are all my parts compatible with each other?
To answer your question, yes, they are compatible. Try not to get too caught up with all the bickering going on in this thread. If you are happy w/ the choices you made by all means go for it. Everything should work together just fine. If you have any other questions or need help with anything let me know.

how is building a pc overrated? why not save money AND figure out the inner workings of a pc?
kandm is overpriced, they have to be, they are a small business there is no way they can compete with newegg or zzf. i am guessing you are only promoting it repeatedly because "m" is a mod here, however if you are serious you shouldn't be giving pc advice

build it yourself and save the money
This is well said my scooby, dont buy from them.. As he said they are bound to be overpriced and im pretty sure the reasoning behind him listing that site..
I appreciate the plug from Iam, However, I do not appreciate your implication that i am Over priced. I am very competitive in price. It is true I cannot compete 100% w/ the bulk buying power newegg has. That does not mean I am overpriced. It simply means I must make up for the cost with my customer service and hands on approach I take to running my business. Value is not always a matter of Dollars.

If he wants to build one himself by all means go for it. But there is no need to drag my name through the mud.
