What all can I do to a car ot make it faster without killing my MPG?

As stated, I'm trading my truck in to a dealership, that's the reason I have about 16500-17 to spend

Or at least where I've gone so far they said I'd get around 17 for my truck

forced induction is the simple solution, unless you buy a 13 second car. You're not going to be able to keep stock mpg going the n/a route.

To be honest I would just keep that neon stock if it was me. Once you start putting all kind of aftermarker perfomance parts on your ride will most likley bring you mpg down some.

Well I put in a aftermarket supercharger on my 94 thunderbird and I went from 320 miles on a full tank to 245 on a full tank. So I dont know about stock, but aftermarket I would say yes.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

I'm hoping that Intake, Chip, Exhaust, and maybe a Cam where I don't have to change the lifters an whatnot should take me to the 13 second range

well... my accord was pushing out around 320whp... great lil whip

i'd get the accord v6 with the 6speed. some guy on honda tech got one to do 13.5 in the quarter, he even posted slips... the downside however is that there is not much in the way for upgrading them, but im sure you can find i/h/e parts

i've owned two accords and loved them both till the day i killed them (the last one wasn't my fault, some **** hit me and she had no insurance)
