Might be more effecient. But I dont think it does mid 14's like that one guy said he did with it stock. My buddy has a mild modded 3.5 max and it barley breaks high 14's. So I dont know about that.

I still say get the vr6. Sweet rides!

There is no 'IF', its been done , many a times ...for years. Aside of the fact that C&D got a 14.6 out of it. I ran 14.69's on the OEM tires when i first got the car in 2002, If i had better rubber I know I could've done better.

Modded N/A's are in the 13's.

Its all about the driver. There are guys with auto's that cant get under 14.7's, then there are others that can get into the low 14's. And we are on talking street tires, not drag radials.

I somewhat like the new Eclipse, only drawback is the Eclipse weighs like 3600 some odd pounds and gets 19 to a gallon, I'd like to have one in the burnt orange with a body kit and 18's, it'd be sharp.

I just don't knwo what to tell you(or what to do for myself!)

I'm not a huge fan of the Celica myself to be quite honest

I'm really looking at Type S Acura RSX and the 06 Eclipse

they actualy are pretty roomie despite their size... not sure what the stock 1/4 times are, im guessing in the mid to high 14's... honda manual trannys are teh ***... soooo smoooth, the perfect throws, i love them

the autos however are total shit, we call them slushboxes

Chip, intake, exhaust, headwork and a cam that i dont haveto change the lifters on
