New car..need system opinion

So i traded my 97 monte carlo for a 2000 SS.

I would really love to keep the steering wheel controls, and i was told that eclipse's new stuff will work with it.

I can get the CD5000, which looks best to me..for 275.00 thru work. (CC).

In terms of everything else, Im going with alpine type-r 6.5's up front, with probably just normal 6x9's for rear fill. the amp that ill be using to power the comps is an infinity 4 channel..111x4 or somthing.

Sub amp is nine.1

Now for my sub, I have a 15'' type-r..in a small ported box. I would like to be able to do a decent number on the meter by means of a TCAB box...but im not sure if it's possible. i guess i just doubt the tcab/type-r combo. I was thinking of getting an eclipse TI 12'' and having a nice box built for it but i don't know....

what is everyones opininon on the cd5000, and the sub..type-r vs 15'' TI
