New Car FEW TEW WIN

It's also rusting out and idles funny. Now that you mention it my grandma has a town car too, with an alpine system in it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
The fit is no more american than some of the Ford cars these days anyhow

Ford Fiesta production begins in converted pickup plant in Mexico - Drive On: A conversation about the cars and trucks we drive - USATODAY.com
my TC will still outlast your fit. && i never commented on new stuff either, but the BMW x3 is entirely designed and built in the US now! i kinda want one now haha

Youre talking about the newer ones right? I havent done one before but I appreciate the heads up. Mod points for you bro
I'm talking about a 2011 Honda Fit. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

My aunt has one & I installed an XM Commander in it for her. I had to take the radio out & apart to hardwire the aux. to the rear for a direct connection. I hate fm transmitters & plugging a cord in the front aux. defeated the purpose of using the commander.

It's just a din cd player mounted to that huge faceplate. It has about 15 or so clips that hold the faceplate in & one 8-10mm screw at the bottom holding the cd player in place. Put masking tape around the dash to protect it when you pry it out. You have to use a screwdriver to pry it out, just be very careful or you'll scratch it. Open the top glovebox & start at the side hidden by it, I found it the easiest part to unclip, you just have to work your way around it. But, first you have to remove the screw holding it in and it's kinda hard to find.

You'll need a 8-10mm socket (can't remember) & the biggest extension you have. Lay on your back from the drivers floor, I had to put the car in 1st to make room. Move the air vent lever to the left & right while looking under it, I cant remember which side, but one side will open a hole in the white plastic mechanism & you'll see a silver screw 8-10" up. That's it, just be careful not to drop it behind the dash....putting it back is a lot harder than removing it.

That's pretty much it. lol..5 min job once you find that **** screw. Metra has a nice kit that allows 1 or 2 din installs & it's only like $20.

Hopefully you understand, hard to type instructions from a phone.

I like the Fit! it makes you smile.

My Dad and Grandma both have one. There is so much effing room in there- I believe my Dad can fit a whole drumset in there and still have room for 5 people! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif plus it gets 44 MPG on teh freeway.

I've been thinking lately and if I randomly found 12,000 bucks on the street, I'd buy one of these as a DD so I don't have to put so many miles on the WRX. With so much space, it could be an audio monster. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif

I got it in the 5speed and Ill be ordering the short shift kit with a weighted shift knob shortly //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif I was originally going to get a civic EX but they dont have any in manual for 10 states and I wasnt going to get an SI. The girl selling them pointed me to a fit that I hadnt considered and It really surprised me by the drive and handling and overall awesomeness. The space and hatch is a natural turn on for any audio guy i suppose.

Also I can do 65 and get 42mpg in my G5 with the 2.2 ecotec //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Pussies itt fighting over who gets better gas mileage //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

I used to get 13mpg or less in my Saab (boosting 15psi, bad sensors, vacuum leaks, etc.), and not one single fuck was given. Used to get $60 weekly paychecks, too. Still had no problem getting to and from places.

Glad you made an effort to get a manual! Should be fun to drive right up until the point when you drop 1000lbs of equipment in it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

At that point, you will probably want to consider some engine mods like opening up the exhaust (no fartbuckets!), intake, and slapping a chip in it. Those modifications will net you more horsepower and torque (when you romp on it), and should also increase your gas mileage (when you aren't romping on it).

Next up would be a beefed up suspension...I don't know enough about suspensions to give you any real suggestions there. Do your research nga //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

i get 1 million MPG

It is true, chicks will love the Fit because they will think it's "cute". Chick also think Hondas with huge fatbuckets and giant spoiler are cute, too.
Men will laugh, chicks will love it.
lulz, I guess we know what Nate's priorities are //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif
