Worst looking VC ever?

Bought a sub about 6 months ago off of Ebay, seller said it was in new condition. When it got here the voice coils had no reading and it didnt look that great. He did refund me, that was like 6 months ago and it has just been sitting here in my closet. Decided to pull it apart today, this has got to be the worst VC I have ever seen lol.

Mostly I'm just wondering if I should throw it all away or is a Type R motor worth something? I'm sure it's not worth much if anything, but if someone can actually use it I wont throw it away.

The sad part is, when I got this thing I contacted the seller, which was actually a pawn shop, he tried to tell me they tested it and it worked great and that it must have got that way in shipping. I finally had to explain to him that voice coils don't turn black when UPS tosses the box around =/

Type R motors seem to be worth about $30 or so. If you can find a local buyer its worth keeping otherwise after shipping you really wont see much as per monetary gains. The fact that people can buy them bnib for about 100 shipped now adays makes these things worthless to recone as recones can cost almost that.

ha thats what my eclipse coils looked like when i burnt them up...except mine were smaller and came uncoiled completly after filling my trunk with smoke

Actually once I really looked at it the bottom of the motor was cracked. UPS may or may not have done it, it was packaged pretty poorly. They def didnt burn the VC though haha. I just chunked it in the dumpster. If there was no crack I probably would have sent the motor to someone for the shipping cost if they wanted it.
