I'm talking about a 2011 Honda Fit. My aunt has one & I installed an XM Commander in it for her. I had to take the radio out & apart to hardwire the aux. to the rear for a direct connection. I hate fm transmitters & plugging a cord in the front aux. defeated the purpose of using the commander. It's just a din cd player mounted to that huge faceplate. It has about 15 or so clips that hold the faceplate in & one 8-10mm screw at the bottom holding the cd player in place. Put masking tape around the dash to protect it when you pry it out. You have to use a screwdriver to pry it out, just be very careful or you'll scratch it. Open the top glovebox & start at the side hidden by it, I found it the easiest part to unclip, you just have to work your way around it. But, first you have to remove the screw holding it in and it's kinda hard to find. You'll need a 8-10mm socket (can't remember) & the biggest extension you have. Lay on your back from the drivers floor, I had to put the car in 1st to make room. Move the air vent lever to the left & right while looking under it, I cant remember which side, but one side will open a hole in the white plastic mechanism & you'll see a silver screw 8-10" up. That's it, just be careful not to drop it behind the dash....putting it back is a lot harder than removing it. That's pretty much it. lol..5 min job once you find that **** screw. Metra has a nice kit that allows 1 or 2 din installs & it's only like $20. Hopefully you understand, hard to type instructions from a phone. --Jacob
