So im gonna be building soon and trying to get some input from you guys on a single SQ oriented 18. My main goal here is to play music very accurately but also have a lot of output. I wanna have "Dave the box guy" build me an enclosure with two changeable external octoports, one with a lower tuning for daily then a higher tuned box for competing. The drivers I've considered are the IA death row 18 and the FI Q 18. I'll push the sub a tad bit over rms for daily then probably burp 2.5k roughly. Tryin to sound good and be loud Monday thru Friday then hit high on the meter on the weekends.

Which driver will do the job better? Or recommend me any other woofers in the 1000-1500 rms range.

Oh yeah this is going into a 97' gmc jimmy 2 door. 200 A alt, big 3 and a stinger spv70 batt.
