Updating a 2007 Ford Fusion SE. Stock has two A pillar tweeters, and a pair of 5x7 in each door F/R.
I dont have a huge budget at this point, so the amp/sub will have to wait a few months, but the stock setup ***** enough I have to do something now.
Thinking Alpine DDin HU, Polk db components up front (5 1/4" in doors) and then either 5 1/4 rear door or 6x9 deck coax. I do plan on putting a sealed 10" in the trunk eventually, so I dont know if that makes the rear speaker choice easier (will the sub mess w/ the rear deck performance?)
I think you can actually jam 6 1/2 in both F/R doors...would that be worth it to do, or just stick with the 5 1/4" that I know fit easily?
