New build, How to make TRUE 2800RMS? HCCA, ZX2500.1

hey guys, I'm new here, and I'm building my system slowly but surely.

This will all be going in to a 2000, classic body style tahoe,

I've got a Orion HCCA 12.4 SPEAKER, Memphis 1.6 Cu ft ported box, 1/0 gauge power ,and ground wires.

Sony xav 64 BT DVD head unit, stock door speakers.

Every thing is all installed, wires etc etc. Just waiting on my amp.

My kicker zx 2500.1 will be here Tuesday. This is the newest model, Birth sheet show over 2,800 RMS

I want to make 2800 true RMS power, I have stock alternator, and I have 2 big 1,000 CCA standard batteries. "Not audio batteries"

My speaker is wired to 2 ohm already.

What is my best budget way, to put down 2800rms safely?

Should I just run 2 batteries?

I hear so many mixed opinions, it will hurt your alt! It won't hurt your alt. Lol

I'm looking to save some cash. And not go crazy. But, I will be using this every day.

Its not going to happen that easy. Those amps will do 2500 clean with daily voltage levels and the frequancy range it will be used for. That box is not big enough, you will need a new alternator. Get atleast a 270 amp and you wont need any batteries, just a good one under the hood

So, all I need is a 270+ amp alternator. And a good battery?

I can get all the internals to rebuild my alternator to a 300 amp for $175.

And a xs power d3100 or d3400 for $230-$350.0

And I'm done?

Only one battery and a bigger alternator?

That was easy lol.

Any other recommendations, on what battery? All I hear on Google is d3400. Idk if a d3100 will fit in my Tahoe.

I've got a standard 1.5 battery right now

Oh yes and, I figured my box was to small. I've been looking. Still thinking on what to go with.

Proubly fat box USA, or a custom built box from a member on here.

I was running a hifonics brutus elite 2000.1D before, I just sold it. It was only 1400 RMS at 2 ohms, and with my voltage dropping,

I guess I was lucky to be getting 1,000 RMS with 12volts
