I have a 2004 Toyota Corolla and the space under the hood is very limited. I will be running an Audioque 2200.1 with 1 15" Fi Q in a ported box. I will be swapping all my wires to 0 gauge. As of right now, I have a stock alternator of 80 amps. I wanted to get the regulator modded so that it can produce more amps but I went to a shop that specializes in alternators and the guy told me that for my car, that is the max it can go because the computer inside doesn't allow me to go any higher. The only way is to put a new alternator but I think most high output alternators won't fit in my car. The guy has some 120 amp OEM alternators that's meant for other toyotas that can fit in my car. Do you think with the power I'm trying to run, 120 amps will be enough? I'm not going to use the full 2000 watts but will keep it around 1500W as recommended for the Fi Q.
