Not many Alternators can fit in my car! What should I do?

I have a 2004 Toyota Corolla and the space under the hood is very limited. I will be running an Audioque 2200.1 with 1 15" Fi Q in a ported box. I will be swapping all my wires to 0 gauge. As of right now, I have a stock alternator of 80 amps. I wanted to get the regulator modded so that it can produce more amps but I went to a shop that specializes in alternators and the guy told me that for my car, that is the max it can go because the computer inside doesn't allow me to go any higher. The only way is to put a new alternator but I think most high output alternators won't fit in my car. The guy has some 120 amp OEM alternators that's meant for other toyotas that can fit in my car. Do you think with the power I'm trying to run, 120 amps will be enough? I'm not going to use the full 2000 watts but will keep it around 1500W as recommended for the Fi Q.

I know for a fact that this company makes higher output alts for your exact vehicle, as I've seen peeps posted in other forums running these... A new H.O. alt will not come cheaply (A high quality one anyhow...) but here is the link = Quote

I'd start by getting some GOOD 0 gauge wiring = OFC, not that cheap CCA **** either, Do your big 3, and a good solid run of that to your amp(s), and see where you stand from there before you shell out a lot of money on a good quality h.o. alt, as you will need these things done prior to running one anyhow...

Thanks, I was just looking at their website actually.. I already got Knuconceptz 0 gauge kit and will be doing the big 3. I'm already thinking it might be very expensive for the high output alternator. Do you think 120 amps will be enough for what I'm running?

@jeffdachef; 160ish might be perfect for my application. Thanks for that. Did it fit perfectly or did you have to put brackets? How long have you been running it for? Any problems so far?

i had it done at a shop for 20 bucks. It fits just like the OEM had it for a week and a half already, my voltages dont drop under 13.8 volts now, before i was constantly under 12 volts even with the big 3 upgrade My system is 1600 rms with a high amp draw from my pretty inefficient amp. I've noticed the bass is hitting harder consistently also my HIDs are brighter. It has a one year warranty so we'll see how it goes but so far it looks pretty clean and works like a charm. If anything you'll always have a spare oem alt to switch back to. For how its working so far, and the super low cost, i'd say its worth it for me.

PS: i might have even higher voltage if i didnt use CCA gauge wire, i might get a tiny bit more if i sodered the wire to the terminals too instead of just crimping it. I'll be getting a 2nd battery ( kinetic hc 1800) in the future to see if i can maintain 14.4 volts stable.

@jeffdachef; wow only 20 dollars? Seems like a big job for only 20 bucks. Must be different in Orange County.. idk.. but yeah sounds good man, I think imma pull the trigger on the alternator.. Sounds like a great deal and exactly what I'm looking for. What kind of sub(s) do you have?
@mylows10; yea that's what I was trying to do but I can't find anyone that can do it.. that's why I'm buying the one jeffdachef mentioned to save me time and trouble.
