Nice looking final product. Once your done with those 15" Type R's you should get some efff eye BL 15's //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif Honestly though I bet the R's are gonna get crazy loud when you feed them 1krms each.

When are you gonna dynamate your roof? My buddy has the same truck, but with (2) type R's in 5 cubes and his roof sounds like a thin cut sheet of tin bending back and forth.

1k? psshh. try 1500+ to each.

and idk when i'll dynamat it...it doesnt bother me that much...and i'm gonna be getting a new truck in another year or two...so i don't really want to bother...bouncing shit on your roof is fun anyways..//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

and i'm sure i'll have something else in the works in a couple months or so when i have a bit more money.

lol...i'm trying man..

:sigh:...advice time.

pulled the seats out today to begin on my amp rack, and now i don't know where to start. theres a LOT of room between the box and the back of the cab...so it has to all look clean because it's gonna be way more visible than i thought. I don't want something extremely nuts...just something simple and clean that can be done with basic materials...

i'm planning on laying some carpet over the whole white area in the back, probably some jet black from PE. i might make a "false floor from MDF to cover up the bolts sticking up. i'm not hacking them off because my back seats will be needed again from time to time.

the space i'm working with for the actual amp rack is roughly 55W x 13H x 9D.

here's some pics.

if you have any ideas/suggestions please share.

well, had a piece of charcoal carpet just big enough left over, so i went with my idea. looks pretty **** good as well, 100x better than before. it's almost dark here...so that's all i got done, but tomorrow i'll start the actual build.

that upholstery job to cover the white of the truck looks very good.

you can use the 3 bolts sticking up to secure the rack on to the floor.

you can make a nice enclosure type rack where the amp can be mounted with a plexy glass front panel to view the amp with fans hidden on the side to keep it cool. you can run the fans of off relays hocked to a main power source and kicked on by the remote wire, so the fans kick on at the same time the amp gets power and off when the amp is off, you can also mount all your accessories like power distributor, power cap, if you have one, things of that sort in the rack as well, to keep everything clean looking, organized and safe.
