I thought about ordering one of those polished bowties for the trailblazer.. I want to see pics when you get it installed. Also, glad you got everything worked out with the amp.. and no doubt on that beast of amp only accepting 4 awg....wild. can't wait to see some vids..

hey you might want to try your port facing the passager door i have a 2004 2500 hd and i have metered it in every position know to man and my best was passager door about 6 in away just my thought looks great

thanks for the tip, i'll probably do that when i build an SPL box and go for numbers. this box is daily, no plans on metering it as of now.

How does it compare to your old type R 12's? Are these 15's hitting the lows really good.

Is it honestly what you expected?

sorry fellas, just getting in...plenty vids tomorrow for sure.

it hits the lows very well, and it's WAYYYY louder than the 2 12s. it's louder than i expected. i think i finally reached the "too much" point for daily. noticeably louder than the BTL and Mojo. loudest setup i've sat in besides a 153.xx. i think i'm definitely gonna have to get it metered just because. i've heard so many dumbasses today trying to brag that they've hit 133 or 138 like it's loud....so i need to get a number on this. it's surprisingly loud in the 30 hz range...but like all of my other systems nothing beats the old Jeezy...which peaks at 41 iirc.
