ive built many boxes and used 2x4s to brace some, threaded rod to brace others and ext bracing also. So please tell me how you can tell me that with those 2x4 hes losing //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

which is what i did? the baffle is double baffled. the front double baffle is the fully heigth of the box, which is why the top screwS DOWN into the first baffle and the front baffle IS SCREWED INTO the top, giving a good tight seal. im sorry if you dont understand why i built it the way i did, but not all of us can understand everything..

Looks decent, but looks like the port could have been a little bigger, reduces port turbulence, other than that looks fair.

I don't think the fact that he used 2x4's is the problem. The problem is they are not accounted for in volume and I doubt they do any good connecting the front baffle to the port. I would have installed them on the same plane as the baffle instead of perpendicular. IMHO I wouldn't have installed them at all because i don't think they are neccessary. But then again my eq isn't LAYING in my console and my duct tape roll is still new in the plastic wrap so what do I know?

and yes im aware of the dog in the box...thats my helper =)

and as far as the duct tape and the epic goes, as i STATED before, the EPIC is NOT MINE, im only using it for TESTING purposes. It will be shipped back out to its owner in about a week or so which is WHY i dont care about the wires because it doesnt affect me at all, and as well with the duct tape, i used it as a precautionary method, im pretty sure i DONT need it, but i dont see a reason why not to use it in case.

and NISSAN, do you have any pics of the box at all? I might be interested when i get my mach 5 spl 12.

the box is for a 15 in sub. Perfect for your btl. Pm me if your interested. It will be the loudest box for your application, with out a doubt.

My box is very similar to that for my trunk. Only difference is my external aeros are toward the drivers side and it's not a tcab. lol
