This is my second build for the BTL 15 i have. IT is wired at 1.2 ohms power by my Mean Machine 3000.1, with an NSB90 in the trunk hooked directly to the alternator. Hope you enjoy. box is 3.5 cu ft tuned to 35 hz

i really dont understand why people construct boxes like that. not to mention those 2x4"s will hurt your out-put more than help. looks like a really nice system with a good amount of money invested that was thrown together.

is it fastened down?

construct boxes like what? whereever theres tape theres screws, its not just the tape. i put it there because i have to BUILD the box INSIDE the trunk, and i could only put sealant on the inside edges when i put the top on, thus this saving on ANY air leaks. i didnt just throw a box together.

and as far as the epic goes, its not mine, im just borrowing it thus not carrying much about the wires showing.

that looks like a grand am? if so i have a actual loud that will fit like a glove. Im located in central IL. Pm me if you are interested. 4.0 @ 35hz external aero port box. did a 150+ @ 44hz with a type R 15, 145.5 at headrest on music

Any reasoning behind that?

Care to tell my why the loudest cars in the world use 2x4s and other materials to stiffen there boxes to increase output?

hard to explain..specifically how the rear and front vertical pieces are .75" taller than the sides...and the front baffle..

all you have to do is fully construct the box outside of the trunk w/o glue and then take it apart and reassemble it in.

they are out further because the sidepanel wasnt attached yet, it fits within there //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

and why would he build a box inside the trunk when he has enough room to slide it through the trunk opening?

A termlab eh?

well maybe you need to learn that all vehicles/boxes react differently with different things //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

ive built many boxes and used 2x4s to brace some, threaded rod to brace others and ext bracing also. So please tell me how you can tell me that with those 2x4 hes losing //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

which is what i did? the baffle is double baffled. the front double baffle is the fully heigth of the box, which is why the top screwS DOWN into the first baffle and the front baffle IS SCREWED INTO the top, giving a good tight seal. im sorry if you dont understand why i built it the way i did, but not all of us can understand everything..

Make your way over to termpro and follow some of there build logs and see some 2x4s being used //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

i apologise for starting the bash spree on your thread, wasnt my intention..

not like i wasnt doing the same things years ago..//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/blackeye.gif.66a1670f5aaf7f406e783a63e3387dc5.gif
