yes, the construction obviously isnt very good. if you noticed in the first few sentences i said i used a jig saw to make the cuts.however there are no leaks, so i could care less what it looks like. i had no intention of this working well. i just thought it up and figured it would be cool to try it. i think designed properly and constructed with care...it could do well in a spl application possibly. its probably obvious i have little experience with box design and all the physics involved...but hey, i had fun building it so what the fuck//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gifI think the design looks pretty terrible and the construction even worse. The ports completely firing into the cabin and the sub completely in the trunk would seem to cause a peak around tuning and very limited output above tuning. The port is not the only contributing part of the system. If this was a bandpass enclosure, it would be a different story. Here, you're going to deal with a ton of reflections coming from the trunk and you could get some serious cancelation problems due to the difference of distance.
It also appears to be tuned pretty high.
