WILL THIS WORK! went out and bought 4 sheets of 3/4 mdf, its gna be 15.7 cubes after all displacements not including bracing, might use threaded rod again. tuned @ 29hz with 14.7 sq in of port per cube. double baffle. each sub roughly seeing 7.8 cubes net each. does it sound good? gna pull out the current box and take it to the landfill, the havocs are tearing it apart. just busted the left side today, talk about an airleak

I made so much progress today, im pre drilling all the holes and gluing, adding screws. pics will be uploaded tmrw. stay tuned.

Op...why mdf? You know birch is more $$ but mush lighter than mdf.

question is though its the core soft or hard? cabinet makers look for finished and usually use softer cores for finishing..
